I'm pretty sure that y'all know that Pho is one of Vietnam's famous dish. We had that for breakfast, somewhere nearby our house. The white kueh thingy was amazeballs! I'm not too sure what it is, but all I know was that it tasted so gooooood. Also, I realized that the way the drinks are served there is so cool. They give you a huge amount of ice, mixed together with the components of the drink that you ordered, and you'd have to mix the whole drink together (to let the ice melt) with a spoon and you drink your beverage from the spoon itself. In Singapore, they'll just provide you with straws or you just simply drink from the cup.
They also ordered another kueh dish which was horrible. Overall, the meal was good and they even provide delivery! Ohhh, I can't wait to return there for a good bowl of beef pho and white kueh.
After breakfast, we went home to chill before making our way down to An Dong, which is another shopping mall. Also, we wanted to hunt for hats because we were going to a beach! However, there wasn't anything much to buy as the fashion in Vietnam is kind'a lacking as compared to Singapore. Had some food before dinner because we just couldn't resist; that's what we all do when we're overseas.. We overeat.
Met up with my dad at a KBBQ restaurant nearby our house. I just realized that there are a couple of good food around our house in district 2. The BBQ there wasn't as good as Singapore's, but we had such a great time laughing and chatting, that I think it made up for the mediocre food! The waiters were really friendly and attentive, and we made an inside joke that kept us laughing throughout the meal.
As Tuesdays are ladies night in Vietnam, I convinced my dad to go to Lush Nightclub together with us! We had a couple of free drinks before my dad decided to open another bottle there, crayyyy. But it was so fun, there were many foreigners like us as well. On top of that, the music was somewhat to my liking. It was my cousin's first time to a club and I feel great because she experienced it with me! So yay to yet another awesome night.
Kisses,
