Vietnam Day 3/5

Drove for a few hours before we arrived at Vung Tau City. My dad introduced us to this really fresh seafood restaurant which he used to patron. Indeed, the food was fresh and delicious! Y'know how Singaporeans love sauces like chili sauce, mayonnaise, mustard etc?.. Well Vietnamese has this sauce which is mixed with lime, pepper and salt. It has a very refreshing taste and it also helps to whet your appetite. And.. I think I have fallen in love with that sauce. It goes well with ANYTHING. It may be weird to pair it with steak or hotdogs, but trust me, it works surprisingly well. I DIY my own sauce sometimes at home too.. and psssst! That's also how Vietnamese girls stay so slim.

Checked into a hotel as we were gonna stay there for the night. The hotel we stayed in had a similar vibe as Budacco hotel which was where I stayed at on the last day of my BKK trip. Don't really like such hotels because I prefer those big and cozy ones, but we just had to make do with it, and moreover, we won't be spending much time in the room. Chilled in the room having heart to heart talks with my cousin, before we all headed out to the beach. It was ultra crowded and it was so hard to get a good shot because people were just photobombing my pictures. Mega love to my dad who had to take all my pictures for me patiently! Sat by the beach after taking tons of pictures till the sun set. Ordered some seafood at a roadside stall and it was super appetizing. Don't y'all agree that roadside stalls/street food are the BEST?!?!?! It doesn't cost much to satisfy my tummy ;-)

Returned to the hotel to freshen up before we went for dinner at Vuvuzela, which is another beer club. We had a delightful meal there, grooving to the music while eating.. After we finished our tower of beer, we went to 2 bars for more drinks. Drank more whisky and jagerbombs. I think I drank the most that night, as compared to the other nights. That night made me feel like I was back at Singapore, bar/club hopping after dinner, and just drinking to my hearts content. I love nights like this.
