I still haven't gotten sick of cafe food.. Travelled all the way down to the east to try Cafe Melba after seeing all the tantalizing pictures on Instagram.

We wasted a lot of time while finding alternative carparks and locating the cafe as you had to walk in front the carpark to the cafe, and we ended up being seated past 4PM, which is the last order for their breakfast menu. Lucky for us, the chef agreed to make an exception for us. Yay because at least we didn't travel for nothing!
Eggs Benedict ($20) with a swap of bacon to smoked salmon. I captured this picture right before the poached egg on the right fell off the toasted muffin.. It is noticeable in my upcoming photos, oh well. Nonetheless, this was good! Super worth the long journey. I'd revisit this place again without a doubt if I happen to be in that area.
Full Melba Breakfast ($25) which looks really appealing. Another salty sausage experience over here, but everything else was delicious. I'm not really a fan of big breakfast as there are many things that I don't fancy, like baked beans, bacons.. and I feel like I can easily whip these up myself at home with my own choice of yummy cheese sausage or something (oooooops).
This looks more like a food blog instead, considering the number of meals I eat per day. Chilled at Starbucks after our lunch with my current favorite drink till we were famished from all the talking.. So, we had a sinful dinner + supper at Newton Circus because I refused to go to Geylang to satisfy our craving for durians, so we had ourselves some sambal stingray and black carrot cake. 2 of my favorite food - SEXINTHEMOUTH!!! Local food are the best.
Kisses,
Vinez
