Ate by the beach again but the food there sucked so bad! I ordered macaroni which was so bland, I think I can cook a hundred times better, urgh. Bought some souvenirs before the long drive back to HCMC.
Settled our lunch at Parkson's foodcourt. Probably never going back to the foodcourt again because the food was so unpleasant, a total waste of money. Bought some gifts for my friends before heading home to recharge.
We initially wanted to go swimming, but since there was a sudden downpour, we decided to go to the sauna instead. After some time, we headed back home and prepared dinner. Needless to say, I had zero contribution in the preparation of dinner. However, that dinner was the best meal I had the entire trip as it was made with love. Headed out to Nguyen Trai street market to shop after our hearty dinner. In my opinion, I think it's one of the best shopping places in HCMC, but be sure to visit there in the night though because that's when most of the stalls are open. It's a pity though, because we didn't get to shop much as we got there rather late.
Our flight back to Singapore was in the late afternoon, so we still had time to go for last minute shopping, yay! We also got this really huge (but ugly) bag at a steal. I think Imma use this as my handcarry for my future trips. Settled our lunch at a Japanese BBQ restaurant just because we felt like it. We totally over ordered and couldn't finish our food, but every dish there was delicious. We grilled our meat to perfection, suitable to our liking, and my cold noodles were so tasty!!! Satisfied that we had a great last meal in Vietnam before returning back to Singapore.
That was a truly enjoyable 5d4n trip with my cousin. It definitely brought us closer together and I hope to go on more trips together in time to come. Love ya for entertaining me and creating new memories together!
Kisses,
