Lashes x Hai Tien Lo x Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roasters

Hellooooooo. Sorry for disappearing even though it's my school break now. Am currently working together with my mom at her office so I'm constantly feeling sleep-deprived. It's seriously hard to juggle between work, leisure, friends, boyfriend, and my own me-time. But my short term contract is gonna end soon so I'm hunting for other part-time flexible jobs. Any recommendations guys? :-)

As promised, here's an 'after' picture of my lashes which I did on the 8th May. Personally felt that it was of good quality and I'm actually surprised that it lasted so long. Apart from the constant tugging I did and unconsciously rubbing my eyes (it's a habit... oops) when I wake up in the morning, I think the lashes stayed on pretty well.
Of course, the lifespan of the lashes are only approximately 1month? So I guess it's also normal for my lashes to be unsightly as of now.. hahahaha but I'm gonna get 'em done real soon, just gotta find time for it, hmms.

Celebrated my mom's & my sister's belated birthday at Hai Tien Lo. We had the weekend dim sum brunch buffet and the prices were certainly worth it, taking into consideration the excellence of the food and service!

The above dish is Double-boiled Mini “Buddha Jumps over the Wall” with Cordycep. The soup was one of the chef signatures and it was good no doubt.

Crispy Fish Skin and Green Mango Salad
My family loves this dish so we couldn't skip this!

Can't really remember what this dish was, but I think the staff placed all the meats we ordered altogether.

Here's what I think it consists of:
Smoked Duck and Vegetable Salad
Homemade Marinated Duck Wings
Cantonese Barbecued Pork Belly
Cantonese Barbecued Honey-glazed Pork
Barbecued Roasted Duck

My mom told me that the pork belly here was known to be good so I tried it even though I'm not a big fan of it 'cause it's very fatty.. And I must say, the rumors were true, it was tasty!

Pan-fried Rice Flour Rolls with Dried Scallops in Chef’s Signature Homemade XO Chili Sauce
Didn't touch this at all as rice rolls fills up your tummy quickly and I'm a small eater if you don't already know, so I was tryn'a save more tummy space for other food hehe.

Braised Whole Abalone with Bean Curd in Conpoy sauce
THUMBS UP FOR THIS DISH

Wok-fried Grouper Fish with Ginger and Spring Onion
This fish was really soft and my boyfriend enjoyed this!

Baked Crayfish with Lemon Butter sauce
Yummmmmms, even more yums as my bf fed me the crayfish because I didn't wanna dirty my hands.

Steamed Cat Fish with Minced Chili sauce

Totally forgot what this dish was!

Wok-fried New Zealand Beef with Black Pepper sauce
Oh my god is 3 words to describe this. I'm a meat-lover so I absolutely love eating meat, especially beef! This was unsurprisingly delectable.

Poached Fresh Prawns

Deep-fried Prawns with Salted Egg
Anything salted egg is definitely yummy.. My bf ordered many servings of this so I guess that tells y'all how good this is. But then again, salted egg ANYTHING can never go wrong.

Can't seem to remember the name of this dish as well.....

Desserts!!!

Just take a look at how much we ordered omgggggg. It was crazy, I swear I was stuffed to bursting! At one point, I just sat there and stared at the amount of food we ordered. I was already feeling full and I had no idea where to start eating from as I was too spoilt for choice. hahahaha. There are a wide array of food to select from in the menu and it's a pity to say that we didn't try many of the other dishes as well. BUT.. I highly recommend y'all to try this place out if you've a huge appetite and I promise you that almost every dish is delicious. ;)

What's a family brunch without a family photo? Love y'all!

Simply outfit that day cos I was too lazy to dress up

Met up with Jesslyn and Minchin for dinner after my work at a cafe that we've always wanted to try. We were pretty much attracted to their minimalist cafe concept.

While waiting for my boyfriend who joined us and also, in the midst of deciding on our orders!

Ordered the Truffle Fries ($12) to share

Forest Mushroom Aglio Olio ($16)
Jess's dinner. I thought the mushroom taste was a little too overwhelming.

Pesto Cream ($16)
Minchin's dinner!

Deep fried mid wings ($8)
My dinner as I had a really heavy lunch + teabreak. Tasted really mediocre though, at least to me. Any fried chicken wings tastes the same to me.

Steak Frites ($25)
My boyfriend's dinner! I personally really liked the truffle bearnaise sauce that came along with the dish.

Overall the food there was rather average, wouldn't mind going back there since it's pretty convenient and near where I stay!

Just my boyfriend being retarded, again

Went for a short game of darts after dinner before heading home. I'm so glad that Minchin & Jess enjoyed playing darts too hehehe. Although I'm still quite lousy at it, I'm gonna try and try again till I get a little better.

Caught the ONE Fighting Championship show as well. Have been watching all the matches but this is the worst one by far. Not only did the whole show overrun, but the matches were boring as well. Out of 10 matches, only 2-3 were worth watching. Oh welllllll.

My ootd in my current fav pair of heels!

Thanks for being my part time ootd photographer. Hehe gonna end this post with a pic together with my love. Till then ~~

Signing off,
Vinez, xx
