- I've been bumming around lately, waking up in the evenings.. So Claire & I decided to try out the food at Meat 'n' Chill for dinner.

They've quite a number of promotions going on right now.
The cafe was fairly empty even though it was dinner time.. I think this cafe is way too underrated; their food deserves more recognition!!

This is the concept for the 1st level.
We were led to the second storey after the flight of stairs. I personally felt that the second level had a more homely and chill vibe.
While deciding our order.......
Claire had herself some Vanilla Milkshake ($5.50). Both of us didn't really like this as it was too milky that it just tasted like fresh milk.
We ordered the Soup of the Day - Potato Soup ($5) which was so hearty and rich in flavor! I love potato soups.
Oreo Milkshake ($6.50) for me. This was exceptionally good, I just wanna make me a cup of oreo goodness right now.
Shared the Crispy Truffle Fries ($8) and it was unsurprisingly yummy. Super potato-ey (though I'm not a fan of thick fries) and they were really generous with their truffle oil!
Claire's main dish: Mum's Mac n Cheese ($17)
When we first tried it, it tasted slightly ordinary.. However, when we mixed it together with the cheese.... Oh my god. It was amazing!
I had the Signature BBQ Pork Ribs in spicy sauce, with side dishes of butter corn & mashed potatoes ($19)
I would've really liked this dish a lot, if not for the fact that I've to painstakingly cut the ribs for a good 1 minute before I get any meat out to eat. The spicy sauce was quite mild, and the ribs were tasty. The mashed potatoes were a huge disappointment as they were cold and chunky.. However, the buttered corn made up for that! It was extra buttery and sweet, yums.

The ambiance at this place is really chill and the staffs were really attentive and friendly! Moreover, the food was really delicious. I can't wait to try other dishes, especially their desserts. Don't they look so insta-worthy & tantalizing at the same time (from the menu)?!?!
Oh! On top of all that, they play really good music too. This might just easily be one of my comfort cafes to go to. ;) Be sure to check this place out!
